Granule, water dispersible advantages

Synthetic colours can be supplied as water soluble powders, prepared solutions, easily dispersed granules, pastes or gelatine sticks. Blocks of colour in vegetable fat are also available for use in fat-based products. The attraction of soluble powders is that they are the least expensive and can be made up as required for use although the other forms have the advantage that they are at a concentration that is ready to use - the disadvantage with the pre-prepared versions is, however, usually financial.
