Bird s indices /s and /e describe the percentage of aromaticity and have been applied to a large number of hetero-TT-electron systems. It is worth mentioning that a similar idea based on Gordy s bond order was published at the same time by Pozharskii, but then it was not as widely applied as that of Bird. Another aromaticity index based on variation of bond lengths and bond orders was suggested by Nyulaszi et al. and applied to polyphosphaphospholes. ...
