Gold phosphine ligands, homoleptic

Homoleptic Gold(I) Complexes with Phosphine Ligands. 272... [Pg.269]

In the many attempts to synthesize homoleptic polyauriomethanes C(AuPR3)4, the preparation has only been successful if phosphine ligands of sufficient steric bulk were employed. Tetrakis[(tricyclohexylphosphine)gold(I)]methane is obtained from a mixture of C[B(OMe)2]4, [AuC1 P(oC6Hh)3 ] and CsF as a colourless crystalline solid with the expected tetrahedral array of gold atoms around the central carbon atom165. [Pg.247]

For a homoleptic series of gold(I) complexes, AUL2" ", AUL3+, AUL4+, the 5p nipiex values shift upheld toward that of the free phosphine as the number of bound ligands increases and, consequently, the coordination chemical shift, A3p , decreases in the... [Pg.89]
