Gold flocculation value

A gold solf which is beautifully red when stable, turns blue at a certain d pi of flocculation. The usual determination of flocculation values with gold uses this property and determines the concentration of electrolyte at which, five minutes after mixing, the first hint of blue colour is noticed or the last hint of red colour has disappeared.
