Gentamicin oral absorption

Gentamicin is the most frequently studied aminoglycoside and may be taken as an example for the group. Reported bioavailability after intramuscular dosing is 93% in cattle, 87% in horses, and 60% in cattish, and is similar for different muscle sites.
