Gas-liquid reactions in a slab

Gas-liquid reactions constitute a very important class of reactions in chemical process industry. The mathematical treatment of the mass transfer between a gas film and a liquid film is rather similar to the developments of this chapter. Thus, in the spirit of keeping the analogy, we will briefly treat the fundamentals of the gas-liquid reactions here, leaving the rest of the detail to the Chapter 11 dedicated to gas-liquid reactions.
