From Allyl Diaryl Telluronium Bromide and Iodine 

When allyl diphenyl telluronium bromide was treated with iodide in chloroform solution, diphenyl tellurium bromide iodide was isolated on evaporation of the solvent. Similar reactions with iodine bromide produced only diaryl tellurium dibromides.  

Diaryl tellurium chloride iodides precipitate silver chloride when treated with one equivalent of a silver pseudohalide and form diaryl tellurium iodide pseudohalides With two equivalents of silver pseudohalides, diaryl tellurium dipseudohalides are produced .  

Bis[4-methoxyphenyl] tellurium chloride iodide reacted with tetraethylammonium bromide to produce bis[tetraethylammonium] bis[4-methoxyphenyl] dibromodichloro-telluratef IV).
