Formation of Some Example Ionic Compounds

The product, aluminum oxide, AljOj, is the most widely used aluminum compound. It is commonly called alumina. Among the products that it is used to make are abrasives, ceramics, antacids, and antiperspirants. 

Exercise Fill in the following table for the ionic products of the reaction of the metal and nonmetal indicated
