Another method, though slightly more complex than the cantilever approach, has the advantage of greater accuracy and economy when compared with the ceintilever method. The economy results from the need of less pipe for a required flexibility. 

The improved accuracy of this method results from the use of generalized parameters obtained from several calculated pipe loops. No claim is made that the procedure will equal the accuracy of a detailed pipe loop calculation. However, it is expected that the results will deviate by a reasonable amount from the most probably values.
