Venlafaxine 150 mg/day did not alter the disposition of caffeine, a probe of CYP1A2 activity (24). This suggests that at therapeutic doses venlafaxine, in contrast to fluvoxamine (SEDA-22,13), does not inhibit CYP1A2.
