Fired doloma

Today, with modern packaging materials and techniques together with other means of protecting products, it is possible to store fired doloma products for up to two years and pitch or resin-bonded products for more than six months. [Pg.190]

It is the lime phase of the doloma grain that provides the direct bond and is responsible for the chemical behavior of the brick. The microstructure of a fired doloma brick shows a high degree of direct bond, as Figure 3 shows. [Pg.190]
