Fire results from a fast chemical reaction between a combnstible substance and oxygen, accompanied by the generation of heat. There are fom requirements for fire to occur  [Pg.272]

Oxygen - except in special circumstances, the chief sonrce is air [Pg.272]

These four requirements are often represented as the fire tetrahedron, see Fig. 7.4. [Pg.272]
