Films prepared on YSZ substrates

X-ray diffraction patterns of films prepared on YSZ substrates, which have been reacted at 8S0°C for 30 and 60 min, respectively, are shown in Fig. 4(a) and 4(b). The films are annealed in hdium at 920°C for 5 min after the reaction step before slow cooling in oxygen. The major peaks of the pattern correspond to the reflections of the superconducting oxide phase. Unreacted barium fluoride is observed in Fig. 4(a), whereas it is completely absent in Rg. 4(b).
