Ferrocenyl 4-methoxyphenyl

Weiss ME, Fischer DF, Xin ZQ, Jautze S, Schweizer WB, Peters R (2006) Practical, highly active, and enantioselective ferrocenyl-imidazoline palladacycle catalysts (FIPs) for the Aza-Claisen rearrangement of A-para-methoxyphenyl trifluoroacetimidates. Angew Chem Int Ed 45 5694-5698... [Pg.173]

Addition of tris(/)-methoxyphenyl)phosphine to the dinuclear Pt(ii)-cod complex with a bridging l,T-ferrocenyl-ene ligand 241 produces a paramagnetic Pt-phosphine complex with a bridging hydroxo ligand (242, Equation (68)). Oxidation of the Fe center by air and coordination of the OH ligand, formed from water impurity, take place during the reaction. [Pg.481]

Table I contains molecular second-order data for ferrocenyl, ruthenocenyl, and related complexes, and some efficient complexes are depicted in Fig. 3. Metallocenyl compounds are amongst the most efficient organometallic complexes for bulk material SHG, and large molecular nonlinearities are anticipated. However, the largest reported molecular data for ferrocenyl complexes contain contributions from fluorescence that could not be deconvoluted from those from HRS, and so the data represent an upper bound. Almost all examples in Table I involve coupling the metallocenyl unit to a 7i-chromophore several silyl-functionalized ferrocenes have also been studied, but they have uniformly low nonlinearities. Overall, the ferrocenyl group has been found to act as a moderate donor in these donor-bridge-acceptor complexes, observed nonlinearities being comparable to those of analogous methoxyphenyl organic compounds. ...
