In order to study the risk of the development of occupational skin disease among the batik manufacturing workers and make the comparison with textile workers, we have performed two studies in different areas in Java. The relationship between length of working and age group among batik factory workers can be seen in Table 4. Most workers were young adults between ages of 25 years and 34 years (60.2%) and distribution of the length of work was almost equal from less than 5 years to 15 years.
