Fabry-Perot and Waveguide Cavity Spectrometers

The most comprehensive description and review of cavity spectrometers in particular was by Varma and Hrubesh. Referencing earlier work, they used a design based on a semiconfocal configuration of the Fabry-Perot cavity. The source was a BWO and most unusually they used Zeeman effect magnetic field modulation. They were studying free radicals in the gas phase and were thus able to employ that method, with its added discrimination against the majority [Pg.80]

In their respective laboratories, Thirup et al. demonstrated that the instrument [Pg.81]
