Fabrication Processes for cfrc

A number of processes have been adapted and utilized for fabricating cfrc  

The spray-up process employs a continuous tow of carbon fiber, fed to a dual applicator gun where it is both chopped and admixed with cement slurry [10] and finally discharged onto a mold surface. 

The fiber can be chopped as a separate operation and then admixed with cement slurry before applying to the mold surface [4]. 

Carbon fiber can be impregnated with cement slurry prior to forming sheets, which are placed in a mold and in this form, are particularly useful for curved surfaces [4]. 

The principles of filament winding used for thermosetting resins have been adapted to give a precise approach [73] for fabricating cfrc composites.
