2 Extrasolar Planets Found by Different Detection Methods [Pg.132]

As of Mid of June 2010 in total 461 planets were found 1. Candidates detected by radial velocity or astrometry 369 planetary systems [Pg.132]

The Brown Dwari 2M1207 and its Planetary Companicn (VLT/NACO) [Pg.133]

Candidates detected by imaging 11 planetary systems, 13 planets, 1 multiple system. [Pg.133]

These data were extracted from the interactive data catalog of extrasolar planets (maintained by Jean Schneider (CNRS-LUTH, Paris Observatory)). There are also unconfirmed observations and so called cluster or free floating candidates for planets. Candidates for free floating planets are S Ori 68 (Mass 5 M/, distance 440 pc), S Ori 70 (Mass 3 My, tempCTature 1000 K, Radius 1.6 Ry, distance 440 pc) and Cha 110913 (Mass 8 My, T 1300 K, radius 1.8 Ry distance 50 pc. Further candidates are CAHA Taul, CAHA Tau2, p Oph 4450. [Pg.133]
