Extracting the Electrolyte Resistance

The theory of EIS, which is out of the scope of this book, shows that if the alternating potential, E, has a form E = B sin(2n/0, the electrolyte resistance, R, can approximately be found by extrapolation when f (1// 0), that is, the cell resistance [Pg.62]

To avoid electrochemical decomposition of the electrolyte, the potential amplitude magnitude, I.BI, should be less than IEdI- Also, it is beneficial for the conductivity measurements when the EDL capacitances, Cedl(-) and Cedl(+). are large values. [Pg.62]
