Extending Structural RE-POMs Complexes

Various POM clusters can act as building units and are connected by RE linkers into one-, two-, three-dimensional structural RE-POM complexes. In reported extending structural RE-POMs complexes, various POM building blocks participate in the structural construction as discrete clusters, whereas RE linkers participate in the structural construction as diverse modes, including hydrated RE ions, discrete RE-organo clusters, and one-, two-, three-dimensional structural RE-organopolymers. [Pg.208]

An Anderson type anion is made up of seven edge-sharing octahedra, six of which are MoOe octahedra arranged hexagonally around the central XOe (A type) or X(OH)6 (B type) [Pg.208]

A series of isostructural two-dimensional complexes [(H20)4(C6N02H5 )RE(CrM06HeO24)] (RE = Ce, Pr, La, and Nd) have been reported. In their structure, B-type Anderson-type anions [Pg.208]

Keggin anions [BW Oao] and [Nd(DME)4(H20)] + linkers. In the layer structure, each [BWi204o1 anion connects with three [Nd(DME)4(H20)] + linkers, and each [Nd(DME)4(H20)] + group bridges three [BW Oao] units [65]. [Pg.211]

Many one-dimensional chain complexes constructed by monovacant Keggin units [a-XMii039l (X = Si, P, Ge M = Mo, W = 4, 5, 6) and RE linkers have been prepared and structurally characterized. These one-dimensional chain complexes can be separated into two series. The first series include [Yb(SiWn039)(H20)2] , [Y(GeWn039)(H20)2] , [Pg.212]
