Extended nip calenders

Based on the Janus Concept calender, Voith developed the Janus MK 2. This latest multi nip-calender version is mainly characterized by the stack being no longer arranged vertically but inclined at a 45° angle offering operational and technological advantages (Fig. 6.72). [Pg.302]
