Exposure on Department of Defense Firing Ranges

LEAD EXPOSURE ON DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE FIRING RANGES 

DOD was asked to provide the committee with air-sampling data on lead and BLLs collected over the last 5 years for range persormel, if possible according to job classification. In response to the request, the US Army submitted data extracted from the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness 

Potential Health Risks to DOD Firing-Range Personnel 

The Air Force also provided the committee with air-monitoring data from 2007-2012 and was the only service to provide data on BLLs of range instructors
