Experiments browning fruit

Certain fruits and vegetables turn brown when they are sliced. Fresh apples and bananas turn brown when they are sliced. Fruit turns brown because of a chemical reaction. In this chemical reaction some molecules are changed into different molecules. In this experiment we are studying the chemical reaction that causes apples to turn brown.
