Experiment 8 Making Ice Cream Mix

To make ice cream mixes for freezing in Experiments 9-12. The first is quick and easy. The second is more complicated, takes about 30 min to prepare and requires constant attention, but aerates more easily and makes better ice cream. 

284 ml/half a pint of milk 284 ml/half a pint of whipping cream 3 tablespoons icing sugar 3 drops vanilla essence 

Simply mix all the ingredients together. An easy way to make chocolate or strawberry mix is to use flavoured milk instead of the milk and vanilla essence.
