This chapter completes our discussion of color fundamentals. We have covered which chemical structures create color, why they do so, and how they do it. Using color spaces, we have described how odor, an inherently subjective property, can be described quantitatively. The next chapter will explore the principal tyfjes of evidence that involve colorants inks and paints. The final chapter of the text will revisit colorants briefly in the context of fibers.
