Examples reciprocating pump

While the foregoing examples have dealt with applications on centrifugal pumps, the same sort of analysis can be made for reciprocating pumps, reciprocating compressors, or other rotary users hke cooling-tower fans. 

The nomenclature selected for the Dimensional Data Group (Grotq> C) was adcqjted fiom the Hydraulic Institute Standards for Centrifugal, Rotary, and Reciprocating Pumps. For example, the field number COOl, "Width of base srqrport", has the field name definition of "HIS A . This corresponds to dimension "A" in the Hydraulic Institute Standards. 

Generally, this mechanism could be extended to accommodate any number of vessels with ease. For example, if 60 vessels were desired, 5 column-selector valves and 5 solenoids would be needed. Size limitations with regard to pump volume (or type, a reciprocating pump would not have a volume limitation) and oven size would be have to be overcome.
