Evolutionary programming definition

In other ways expert systems programming is much different. Traditional principles of specification and organization are tested, in part, because the program undergoes evolutionary and sometimes revolutionary revisions as an understanding of the problem domain grows. Despite early detailed specification, the tendency of the specification and the project to evolve toward its final definition seems to be unavoidable.
