Ethyl-P-carboline-3-carboxylate

Diazepam Clonazepam Flumazenil (Flumazenil in patients with panic disorder) Ethyl-P-carboline-3-carboxylate (P-CCE) FG7142... [Pg.105]

Table 29.1 depicts the in vivo anticonvulsant effects in mice of some of the most potent compounds studied. The convulsion model was based on observing the inhibition of clonic seizures induced by a 15mg/kg inffaperitoneal dose of methyl-6,7-dimethoxy-4-ethyl-P-carboline-3-carboxylate (DMCM). This compound is an inverse benzodiazepine receptor agonist. Fjalland s procedure was used for these studies. Table 29.1 shows some of the compounds that showed promise. [Pg.282]
