It was Leonardo da Vinci who formulated one of his rules for creative people, sensazione. This rule deals with the importance of all senses for human creativity. Da Vinci considered synesthesia (see Chapter 2) as the highest form of mood that creative people may achieve, and he believed that this mood requires the activation of all the senses. Therefore, the creative space must positively affect all the senses.
