Environmental emissions solid waste streams

Analysis of the solid and liquid process waste streams clearly indicates that the MCC process offers environmental benefits compared with the chemical resolution procedure. To generate data for the cradle-to-grave emissions and impacts, a streamlined life cycle assessment of all of the processes was performed using the Fast Lifecycle Assessment for Synthetic Chemistry, FLASC . 

The Environmental Coordinator is responsible for our compliance with laws regarding effluent and air emissions. He informs us of any problems such as environmentally undesirable solvents or reagents. He also determines the best way to dispose of any solid or liquid waste streams resulting from a procedure. If required, he arranges testing for a definitive answer to questions of appropriate disposal.
