Enrichment of radionuclides

In principle, the following methods are common in water radiochemistry methods of enrichment before producing and measuring a preparation. 

Precipitation with isotopic carrier Precipitation with non-isotopic carrier Precipitation with hold-back carrier Separation of the precipitations by filtration or centrifugation 

Liquid-liquid extraction Liquid-solid extraction Liquid-gaseous extraction 

Column chromatography (e.g. also high-pressure liquid chromatography) 

Adsorption (e.g, low-temperature adsorption of radioactive gases on activated carbon)
