This p(ET/HBA) TLCP was mixed with bisphenol-A PC [Sinvet 251, Enimont America, Inc.] in 50 50% wt., blended at 300 C for 30 mins, at 40 r.p.m. in a 30 ml Brabender mixer. Additional 50 50% PC p(ET/HBA) blends with a catalyst, tetrabutylorthotitanate (TBOT) in the amounts of 0.15% and 0.30% wt., were produced under the same conditions. Pure components were processed at the same conditions to determine if processing changed their initial physical properties. All materials were vacuum dried at a minimum temperature of lOO C for 24 hours before processing.
