Energy Levels in Solids and Electrolytes

In the previous chapter we have reported results from which the potential distribution at the semiconductor-electrolyte interfaces was derived without referring to energy bands in the solid or to energy levels in the electrolyte. In this chapter the electrode potential and flatband potential will be correlated to energy levels.
