End group analysis, of polymers

In addition to these reactions of discrete alkyl complexes of tP metals, much evidence for p-alkyl elimination has been gained from end-group analysis of polymers generated from olefin polymerization catalyzed by d metal complexes. These data imply that 3-alkyl elimination could be a major pathway for chain transfer in the absence of any added chain-transfer agents, such as hydrogen. ...
