Electrons toward inorganic compounds

On the Reactivity of Hydrated Electrons Toward Inorganic Compounds... [Pg.84]

As a consequence of its electronic configuration, a variety of coordination numbers and geometries have been observed for copper(I) compounds, especially for inorganic representatives (see Fig. 1.3) [32]. In the organometallic chemistry of copper, the linear and trigonal coordination geometries in particular, though distorted towards T-shaped, are frequently encountered. [Pg.6]

Results of an earlier work [177] (based on atomic calculations) on the stability of some 2+ and 4+ compoimds of element 114 lead also to the conclusion of a low reactivity of 114. All tetravalent compounds were considered to be imstable towards decomposition. Some divalent inorganic salts were predicted to be, however, stable. Recently, the electronic structures of 114X (X = F, Cl, Br, I, O) and 114O2 were calculated using the two-component RECP CCSD(T), two-component DFT ZORA(MP) and four-component BDF... [Pg.43]
