A limiting current at an SECM tip in the bulk solution substantially depends on the shape and size of both electrochemicaUy active and inactive portions of a tip, thereby prohibiting the determination of these four parameters only from a limiting current. For instance, a limiting current at an inlaid disk tip with any RG in the bulk solution.
