Effective Return

In principle, simulation teclmiques can be used, and Monte Carlo simulations of the primitive model of electrolyte solutions have appeared since the 1960s. Results for the osmotic coefficients are given for comparison in table A2.4.4 together with results from the MSA, PY and HNC approaches. The primitive model is clearly deficient for values of r. close to the closest distance of approach of the ions. Many years ago, Gurney [H] noted that when two ions are close enough together for their solvation sheaths to overlap, some solvent molecules become freed from ionic attraction and are effectively returned to the bulk [12]. 

Equation (9-113) shows that Eq. (9-114) is only approximately true and should be used, if at all, solely for low interest rates. Let us consider the case of a nominal (DCFRR) of 5 percent and an inflation rate of 3 percent. Equation (9-14) yields an approximate effective return rate of 2 percent, compared with the real effective rate of 1.94 percent given by Eq. (9-113) i.e., there is an error of 3.1 percent. Now let us consider the case of a nominal (DCFRR) of 2.5 percent and an inflation rate of 23 percent. Equation (9-114) yields an approximate effective return rate of 2 percent, compared with 1.63 percent from Eq. (9-113) in this case, the error that results is 22.7 percent. 

The sensitivity of a region to acidic deposition is related primarily to its capacity to reduce or chemically neutralize acidity. If there is an ability to quickly and effectively return conditions to nearly normal, the effects of the deposition will be minimized and the ecosystem is not considered to be sensitive. However, if there is little or no capacity to reduce the acidity, the ecosystem is highly sensitive and severe damage can occur if the acidic deposition is significant. 

How can one confirm that there is effective return of the propagating carbene to the polymer support, and that catalysts based on the bidentate styrene ether are truly recyclable ... 

The procedures for the recall of medicines must provide for the immediate altering of the authorities concerned and the prompt and effective return of the medicines recalled.
