Early summer cabbage

Early summer cabbage (Primo) is sold as whole heads. They are produced from overwintered crops or spring planted crops and harvested from May. [Pg.409]

Early summer cabbage can be autunm drilled and overwintered, drilled in Febmary or transplanted April/May at a final spacing of 46x23 cm for harvesting from May. Plastic covers can be used on early crops which advance harvests by up to two weeks. [Pg.410]
