Dynamic Behavior of Cyclic Allylboranes

Two sets of signals are observed in the H and C NMR spectra of bo-rane 17 at 203 K attesting for the coexistence of 2-(di-n-butylboryl)-l-methylenecyclobutane (17a) and l-(di- -butylboryl)methyl)-l-cyclobutene (17b) in a ratio 4 3. At 373 K the H NMR spectrum of this borane is completely averaged.
