Doped Rutile Titanate Yellows and Tans

The chemical properties are closely related to that of the rutile host lattice, their ability to withstand heat and chemical attack are similar to that of rutile TiOj, and their weathering performance is superior. These pigments provide good opacity in the IR region and can be used to minimize absorbtion by the primer or the substrate. 

Titanate pigments have wide use in PVC for vinyl siding, window profiles, and some use in paints where combined properties of Ught fasmess, heat resistance, and IR reflection are desired.
