Dithizone, purification

Potassium sodium tartrate (Seignette salt) 20% solution. Purification of the solution add ammonia to make the pH -8 and shake the solution in a separating funnel with small portions of dithizone in CCI4 until the organic phase no longer turns pink. Store the solution in a polyethylene bottle.
