Dioscorides Pedanus

B. C.), Vitruvius, a Roman architect of the first century B. C., Dioscorides Pedanus, a Greek physician of the first century A. D., and the Elder Pliny, also of the first century A. D. Some brief allusions are contained also in the writings of Plato (died 347 B. C.), Aristotle (384-322 B. C.), Diodorus Siculus (about the first century B.
