Dioctahedral 2:1 layer silicates medium

The syntheses of 2 1 dioctahedral layer silicates have been performed in an acid and fluoride medium. For the samples described in this chapter, the pH of the starting hydrogel ranged from 3.0 to 6.0, and the Si/F molar ratio from 0.65 to 5.00. Five cations were used as interlayer material in these syntheses Li+, Na+, K+, NH4+, and (C2Hs)4NM+, with different results, which were examined farther in this study. [Pg.210]
