Dinitrobenzoyl group

Another system investigated by the same group is the intrachain charge-transfer complex of polysarcosine chains having a terminal p-dimethyl-aminoanilide group and a terminal 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl group [29], Equi-... [Pg.67]

The r-donor phases (typically naphthyl-amino-acid derivatives covalently bonded to silica) require the analyte to contain a r-acceptor group such as the dinitrobenzoyl group. The dinitrobenzoyl group can easily be added to a wide range of compounds such as alcohols, amines and carboxylic acids using dinitrobenzoyl chloride, isocyanate or dinitroanaline, as already mentioned above. [Pg.464]

These and similar copolymers exhibited photoconductivity in the visible region. The copolymer of N-vinylcarbazole with dinitrobenzoyl groups showed better photoresponse than PVK doped with chloranil158). [Pg.40]

The actual value of the dipole moment was always considerably higher than that of the unoxidized monolayers, the largest increase (300%) being observed with lumisterol films. Tachysterol was not oxidized by permanganate at these concentrations, and the dinitrobenzoates of ergosterol and calciferol were decidedly more resistant to oxidation than the sterols themselves, probably due to steric hindrance by the large dinitrobenzoyl group. [Pg.20]

Dimethyl-l,4-phenylene ether, modified Epichlorohydrin, modified Single Tg Both I and II had at least 25 % carbazoiyl or 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl groups Pugh and Percec (1986)... [Pg.1975]

Butyl acrylate-co- A -hydroxyethylcarbozolyl acrylate Butyl acrylate-co-P-hydroxyethyl-3,5-dinitrobenzoyl acrylate Single Tg I had 6 or 48 mol% electron donating carbozoyl groups II had 10 or 63 mol% elecUon withdrawing dinitrobenzoyl groups Schneider et al. (1992)... [Pg.2054]

Dimethylsiloxane, functionalized Dimethylsiloxane, functionalized Single Tg I had 4-15 mol% electron-donating carbazoyl or IV-methylaniline groups n had 4-15 mol% electron-accepting dinitrobenzoyl groups donor/ acceptor = 1/1 Schneider et al. (1992)... [Pg.2056]

BFEE was also used to prepare good-quality polymer films of a thiophene derivative bearing an electron-withdrawing dinitrobenzoyl group, (R)-(-)-2-(3 -thienyl)ethyl-(3, 5"-dinitrobenzoyl)-a-phenylglycinate (TDNB), since the onset of the monomer oxidation occurred at a lower potential in the presence of BFEE rather than in CH3CN, Fig. 2. [Pg.25]

The library is a dipeptide library consisting of three modules an end-capping module (module 1) and two amino acid modules (modules 2 and 3) (Fig. 2). Module 1 consists of only two components, the acetyl group (Ac) and the electron-deficient dinitrobenzoyl group (Dn). Modules 2 and 3 have identical components both contain the same 10 amino acids. All the possible combinations of three modules yield a library containing a total of 200 members. [Pg.204]
