Development of insulating fillers

The differences between the samples filled with alumina powder of the same structure but just different grain size inspired other research groups to examine in detail the influence of alumina powders on the conductivity of composite polymeric electrolytes. Both loading and filler grain size were examined in detail in (PEO)ioNaI-Al203 (a, e and 0) system (the notation (PEO) CA means that for each salt molecular formula CA (cation-anion) there are x oxyethylene units in the polymeric chain) (Plocharski et al. 1989 Przyluski et al. 1990 Wieczorek et al 1989,1990). [Pg.73]
