Design base metal recovery

The Design of Solvent Extractants for Base Metal Recovery... [Pg.366]

These analytical experiments were used to establish the validity of the techniques used as well as the general concentration ranges of the metals of interest. However, because of the aforementioned material heterogeneity, it was necessary to determine the composition of each experimental sample in order to establish separation effects in relation to a particular initial composition. This is apparent in the subsequent data that report different base compositions. In spite of the wide variation in the ore tailings composition, commonalities in chemical behavior and reactivity which were used in the design of an effective separation and recovery process have been observed. [Pg.131]
