3 Deprotometalation Using Alkali Metal-Amidocuprate Complexes

To gain further insights into the reactive cuprate species and the mechanisms by which they react, a DPT study of the DoC of A/dV-dimethylbenzamide was performed. A summary of the deprotonation process using a model Lipshutz-type cuprate [MeCu(NMej)(CN)Lij] 20MCj is shown in
