Due to the strong asymmetry of the coexistence curve for large N, it is mandatory to include field mixing [82,85,89,93,94,119] in the finite size scaling analysis (i.e., energy density and particle number density need to be treated as coupled parameters, and the order parameter M of the transition needs to be constructed as a suitable linear eombination, as described in the quoted references).
