The mutational SURF method was presented by Freier et al. [75] and was intended as a refinement of other existing deconvolution techniques. While the only reported example deals with virtual oligonucleotide libraries, the technique looks promising and useful also for real small-organic-molecule libraries. [Pg.106]

Freier et al. [75] showed that mutational SURF (synthetic unrandomization of randomized fragments) improves the quality of the selected structures obtained from any deconvolution technique.
