Decays of Tyrosine and Its Neutral Derivatives

Tyrosine itself displays a single exponential decay, whereas NAiyrA displays a btexponential decay (l le 17.1). While the molecular origin of the double-exponential decay of NATyrA is not clear, this phenomenon is accepted to be also due to die presence of ground-state rotamers.  

GonsideraUy less information is available on the intensity decays of phenylalanine. Some limited decay time information is available, but pH-dependeiU lif imes have not been reptxted.
